Grand Opening is bringing the iconic drive-in back to NYC with its series CARS UNDER THE STARS. Opening first at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center parking lot in Manhattan's Lower East Side, CARS UNDER THE STARS will travel the 5 boroughs and beyond. The initial event will consist of 20+ convertibles from a local dealership which will be booked in advance and await visitors at the lot on the night of the screening. Visualize a red carpet event in an unlikely urban setting: lights dramatically illuminate adjoining brick walls and fences, caterers operate concession trucks, spot lit billboards surround the perimeter, and guests are ushered to their pre-assigned vehicles for an extraordinary night of food, film trailers, and a feature film.
